Orders are typically filled within 3 hours of receipt. If an order is placed within one hour of end of business hours, orders will be processed within 3 hours of the next business day. Due to stock shortages, some items may be back ordered until a later date. Franz Witte Landscape Contracting, Inc. reserves the right to process partial orders or hold an order for complete fulfillment at our sole discretion. Prior to back ordering an item or partial processing an order Franz Witte Landscape Contracting, Inc. will either contact you before fulfilling your order and notify you of such cancellation. In the event that a live good is not met to our quality control standard you will be notified. Delivery and/or installation of product will be routed in manner that our crew can accommodate you into our schedule. You will be notified to set up a day and a timeframe of arrival.

You may cancel your order within 24 hours after submitting. at any time prior to shipping or picking up your order. Custom or special orders may be non-cancellable or incur restock fee of 20% of price paid.
Delivery fees are calculated based on your zipcode & size of item. We cannot confirm the delivery fees until your order enters the routing process. Rest assured, however, that we verify these fees as part of our routing procedures so you are aware of the fee upfront. Items added after the routing process are subject to additional delivery fees.
Installation rate of plant materials start at a minimum of 70% of the retail price of an item with a minimum of $65.00. This rate can vary depending upon location, access, request of work to be done, irrigation repairs, haul off material, etc. You will be contacted prior to any fees being collected to verify the work to be done & fees. Schedule availability is based on next available opening. Delivery of additional that were not priced in the installation fee are subject to delivery fees. While we try to accommodate the additional items to be delivered at the time of installation, it is not always possible depending on prior routed & scheduled delivery & installation.
All purchases may be returned within 30 days of receipt. The items must be in like-new condition. Custom or special ordered products are non-returnable. Receipt must accompany all returns. Merchandise without an original receipt or proof of purchase is not able to be returned. All discounted items 25% and over are deemed final sale & no guarantee or returns will be offered. We ask that you take extra care with your living plants as they are perishable and subject to variable conditions such as weather, transportation, soil quality, watering, and positioning in your garden. Acceptance of our plant products at the time of sale is considered proof of good health and survivability. Because live plants are subject to variable conditions, we’re not able to offer a guarantee or refund on all types of living plants purchased.
We are happy to share our expertise with you to maximize your success with our plants, trees, and shrubs. Prior to the time of purchase, please see one of our Nursery Specialists or refer to our planting and watering guideline sheets for more information on how to care for plant materials.
Franz Witte Landscape Contracting, Inc. fully guarantees certain plant material for replacement or store credit. Please see specific plant guarantees listed below. If your plant does not survive, please return it together with your original sales receipt to our customer service desk. We cannot offer a guarantee on any plant material without proof of purchase. This is a one-time replacement only and replacement plants will carry no guarantee. If we are out of stock on the replacement plant, a store credit will be issued.
If a plant is brought back for a refund and still has live buds and green tissue, we will not be able to offer a refund. Franz Witte Landscape Contracting, Inc. is not responsible for extreme natural conditions such as: floods, ice, drought, wildlife, neglect, improper placement in the landscape.
Seasonal color, herbs and vegetables are not guaranteed.
PERENNIALS, ROSES, SHRUBS, TREES
Up to 30 days from the original sales receipt. 100% store credit or replacement will be given. No guarantee will be given on plants left in original container. If Franz Witte installation service planted the rose, shrub, or tree, there is a 1 year guarantee on the plants assuming proper care (water, drainage) & maintenance (pruning, protections from mowers/trimmers/wildlife) and we will plant your replacement at no charge. No guarantee will be given on materials planted in a container or damaged mechanically. The customer shall call or visit us with concerns so we can help diagnose as they see their material decline. It’s hard for us to determine what went wrong when we are simply told something is dead. You are entering a partnership with us when we plant for you, in that you’ll care for your material properly & inform us of declining plants. We in-turn partner with you in helping you along the way. Any warrantied plant is only provided free of charge one time.
Blooming plants and small green foliage plants 2”, 4” and 6” in size do not hold a guarantee. Air Plants (Tillandsia) are not guaranteed. Large tropical trees and plants 8” size or greater will be guaranteed up to 30 days from the date on the original sales receipt. 100% store credit or replacement will be given. This includes citrus plants.
We are unable to offer a guarantee on the following:
Bonsai, Orchids, Live Christmas Trees, fresh cut Christmas trees, evergreens purchased in December and custom design work.
